Virginia Tech wide receivers coach Fontel Mines continues to get it done. On Friday morning, 4-star wide receiver Shamarius “Snook” Peterkin became the latest offensive playmaker to commit to the Hokies.
Peterkin, a 6-foot-2, 172-pound receiver from Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, chose the Hokies over North Carolina and N.C. State. The Wolfpack were the perceived leaders for Peterkin throughout his entire recruiting process, but the Hokies kept chipping away, and Mines won another big recruiting battle.
