The first coaches' poll of the 2024 college football season was released on Monday, and to no one’s surprise, Georgia and Ohio State were No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
Where were the Virginia Tech Hokies? The Hokies missed out on the top 25 but did receive 64 votes, which put them at 28th.
Virginia Tech has high expectations for the 2024 season, with 20 starters returning, including quarterback Kyron Drones. However, the Hokies were picked to finish sixth in the ACC.
While most fans will be disappointed that the Hokies missed out on the top 25 of the coaches poll, it’s not a big deal.
