Jeremy Webb arrived at Virginia Tech in the class of 2018 as a JUCO transfer from ASA College in New York. A four-star cornerback from East Mims, Fla., Webb was an All-Conference selection in 2017.
At 6-foot-4, 205 pounds, Webb fit the mold in the type of corner former defensive coordinator Bud Foster coveted.
Unfortunately for Webb, he tore his Achilles in spring practice in 2018 and missed his first year. He took a redshirt that season.
Tech was hoping to get a healthy Webb back in 2019 and his rehab was encouraging throughout the offseason.
