The Virginia Tech Hokies remained red-hot in the NCAA transfer portal on Tuesday night, landing the commitment of former Pittsburgh linebacker Jordan Bass.
If the same sounds familiar, Bass was the No. 5 player in Virginia in the 2023 recruiting class, according to 247Sports, and the 176th overall player in the country. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Bass spent the last two seasons with the Panthers. The Hokies were a finalist for Bass, but he stuck with his commitment to Pitt.
A two-way star at Phoebus High School in Hampton, Bass was also a star wide receiver for the Phantoms.
