A few weeks ago it was revealed that freshman defensive back D.J. Crossen had been suspended since September for an unspecified violation of university policy. The school released a statement regarding Crossen, via Mike Niziolek of The Roanoke Times.
“D.J. Crossen has been suspended since September 2018. He is subject to the policies set forth in the Virginia Tech Code of Student Conduct.”
Just over a week later, it was revealed why Crossen was suspended. He was charged with making a video of an unclothed woman without her consent. Crossen was suspended from competing in games in the fall, however, was allowed to practice.
