The Hokies returned 20 starters from last season’s team that won five of its final seven games. Quarterback Kyron Drones is back and not receiving nearly enough praise on a national level.
VT has all of its top offensive weapons back, too. Wide receivers Quan Felton, Jaylin Lane, Ali Jennings, Stephen Gosnell and Ayden Greene are back.
