Virginia Tech football: Brent Pry adds one of the nation’s top offensive line coaches

Virginia Tech fans were in panic mode because head coach Brent Pry had yet to name a new offensive line coach and defensive coordinator. You can cross one of those things off the to-do list, as on Monday, the Hokies officially announced Matt Moore as the new offensive line coach.

A Georgia native, Moore played college football at Valdosta State, starting 34 games in the early 1990s. He began his coaching career shortly afterward at the high school level.

After two years of coaching at Pickens High in Jasper, Georgia, Moore caught a break with national powerhouse Hoover High School in Alabama.
