The Virginia Tech Hokies wrapped up the 2024 season, defeating the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday night in Blacksburg. While Tech ended the season on a positive note, a 6-6 record is not what any fan hoped for entering the season.
So, while it was a disappointing season, several players stood out with outstanding individual performances. On Tuesday, six Virginia Tech players were honored as the ACC announced the All-ACC teams for 2024.
No surprise, but senior defensive end Antwaun Powell-Ryland led the way on the first team. Only one defensive player (Boston College DE Donovan Ezeiruaku) received more votes than Powell-Ryland.
