Fall camp opened last week for the Virginia Tech Hokies, and the season opener against Vanderbilt is only 23 days away. College football is back.
It wouldn’t be college football season without The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman’s annual “Freaks List.” The Hokies have had multiple players make Feldman’s list of college football’s most athletic players. Feldman’s “Freaks List” is comprised of players who aren’t just fast, big, or strong but a combination of all three.
Linebacker Keli Lawson made the list last season. Lawson is back this year but is not on the 2024 list.
