Virginia Tech quarterback commit Quincy Patterson is participating in the Elite 11 event for the top high school quarterbacks in the country this weekend. The event, held for the top 25 quarterback prospects in the country, is a showcase for not only committed prospects, but uncommitted ones, too.
Patterson, the 6’3”, 236-pound signal caller from Chicago, pledged to the Hokies back in February.
Former Hokie, Tyrod Taylor, who competed in the event back in 2006 and had some words of encouragement for this year’s class.
The Elite 11 event is the premier showcase for high school quarterbacks and the top performers will earn an invite to Nike’s The Opening.
