Hokie fans, it might be time to get excited about the potential of this Virginia Tech basketball team. The loss to Duke was by a big margin, but the response from the Hokie players was even bigger. I wrote that Virginia Tech was perfectly okay losing big to the Blue Devils, but that they had to win two of the next three against unranked opponents to make it a good four game stretch. Well, they are well on their way to making that happen. Wake Forest came into this game with a 10-5 record and it looked like it would be a very close game.
