The Virginia Tech Hokies moved to 3-1 on the season Sunday night with a 98-76 win over the Wofford Terriers in Blacksburg. It was head coach Mike Young’s first game against his former team.
The Hokies were led by senior center Lynn Kidd, who had another outstanding game. Kidd finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists. It was Kidd’s second consecutive game of scoring 20 points or more, and he has scored in double figures in all four games. Kidd is now averaging 17.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game, and his breakout campaign is being noticed.
