Since the end of college basketball’s regular season, several Virginia Tech men’s basketball players have entered the NCAA transfer portal. In some instances, the players were encouraged to seek opportunities elsewhere, which is now the new norm for college sports, particularly basketball.
Unfortunately for the Hokies, there weren’t any players coming in. That changed on Saturday when four-star forward Amani Hansberry revealed he was committing to Virginia Tech.

This is a big get for Mike Young and the Hokies. Hansberry committed to the Hokies due to his relationship with top assistant Chester Frazier.
