The Virginia Tech Hokies men’s basketball team will look much different in 2024-25. After the 2023-24 season ended in March, the Hokies and head coach Mike Young saw a mass exodus as players took advantage of the NIL rules to shop their services to other schools.
That meant Young and his staff not only had to convince some players to return from last season, but they had to fill several open roster spots. In all, the Hokies will have five new transfers and four freshmen.
We’ve known who the Hokies will play for several weeks, but on Thursday, Virginia Tech officially announced the dates for all of its non-conference opponents.
