Virginia Tech head basketball coach Mike Young continues his rebuild of the program and on Monday, he added a big piece.
Justyn Mutts, a graduate transfer from Delaware, announced he would finish his career at Virginia Tech.
Mutts, a 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward from Millville, N.J., first committed to High Point where he spent his freshman season. Mutts played in 28 games, making 19 starts. He transferred to Delaware after the 2017-18 season and redshirted in 2018-19.
As a redshirt sophomore in 2019-20, Mutts played in all 33 games, averaged 12.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
