Virginia Tech basketball: Duke defeats Hokies 88-65

The Virginia Tech Hokies returned to the court for the first time in 10 days, playing the fourth-ranked Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Unfortunately for the Hokies, Duke came away with a rather convincing 88-65 win over Tech.

The two teams went back and forth in the game's early minutes, and VT junior forward Tobi Lawal’s slam dunk with 9:28 remaining in the first half gave the Hokies a 16-14 lead. That’s where the competitive portion of the game ended. Duke freshman sensation Cooper Flagg drilled a 3-pointer on the other end, giving the Devils a 17-16 lead.
