Malcolm Delaney arrived at Virginia Tech in 2007 when Seth Greenberg still roamed the sidelines for the Hokies. Over his four years in Blacksburg, Delaney would become a two-time All-ACC guard as one of the better scoring guards in all of college basketball.
Zach LeDay arrived in Blacksburg in 2015 as a transfer from South Florida. LeDay would play two years for the Hokies and was a key performer for former head coach Buzz Williams in his quest to turn the program around. LeDay was arguably Tech’s top player in 2016-17 when the Hokies returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in a decade.
