Adding to the cascade of transfer announcements, Virginia Tech Hokies QB, Josh Jackson, is reported, by the Richmond Times-Dispatch, to be entering the transfer portal.
During 2017 Jackson started for the Hokies and helped lead them to a 9-4 record and an appearance in the Camping World Bowl against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. This past year, during the ignominious defeat at the hands of Old Dominion in Norfolk, Jackson broke his leg and Ryan Willis took over the starting job for the remainder of the season.
Willis and redshirt freshmen sensation, Quincy Patterson II seem poised to compete for the starting job, and Hendon Hooker’s significant presence means there is no guarantee that Josh will be the starter.
