Terrell Edmunds Signs His Rookie Contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers

The day before the Pittsburgh Steelers kick off their 2018 training camp their surprise first round pick of the 2018 NFL Draft, Terrell Edmunds, signed his rookie deal.

The Danville, VA native played three years of football for the Virginia Tech Hokies before he and his brother, Tremaine Edmunds, became the first brothers selected in the first round of the same NFL Draft.

Initially projected as a mid-round option the Steelers surprised everyone when they selected the athletic and versatile Edmunds with the 28th overall pick. Terrell is expected to primarily contribute as a defensive back, but is also expected to assist at linebacker as Pittsburgh seek to fill the void left by the dynamic Ryan Shazier.
