BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech senior CB Greg Stroman has earned the distinction of wearing Frank Beamers’ No. 25 for the No. 16 Hokies’ game at East Carolina’s Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on Saturday.
This weekend’s game will mark the second time the Bristow, Virginia, native has worn the honorary number in his career. His first time wearing the Beamer No. 25 also came against the Pirates. Stroman opened a 54-17 Tech victory in Lane Stadium last year with an 87-yard punt return TD.
