Saturday was a lackluster day all around with the weather pulling the mood down in Blacksburg, but overall the Hokies had a solid performance.
The Hokies first team units looked solid on Saturday afternoon in Lane Stadium for the 2015 Spring Game. Overall, it is hard to judge any side from top-to-bottom with both sides using a very limited playbook. I would guess that the coaches wanted to see how the teams executed the simple stuff instead of testing them with more complex play calls. Also, this is the only chance that the defending champion Ohio State Buckeyes would get to see the Hokies in action prior to their Labor Day night matchup in Blacksburg.
