BLACKSBURG – Head coach Justin Fuente announced on Thursday that Virginia Tech senior long snapper Colton Taylor has earned the distinction of wearing Frank Beamer’s No. 25 for the Hokies’ home opener vs. Delaware Saturday at Lane Stadium.
Saturday’s game will mark the first time the Salem, Virginia native has received this prestigious honor. Taylor joined the Hokies as an invited walk-on in 2013 and appeared in 13 games for the Hokies in 2016. He will play in his 20th career game for Tech on Saturday at Lane Stadium.
