The Virginia Tech Hokies are hard at work wrapping up their final workouts ahead of their annual spring football game on April 22nd. All eyes were, as expected, solely set on the 2017 football season, which will kickoff on Sunday, September 3rd against the West Virginia Mountaineers at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.
While 2017 remains the focus, there was an exciting scheduling announcement made by the Virginia Tech athletic department on Thursday, as the school confirmed that the Hokies will be kicking off the 2018 campaign on the road in Tallahassee against the Florida State Seminoles. The showdown will take place on Labor Day night in prime time on ESPN.
