Twenty-five student athletes compete for chance to participate at NCAAs
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Twenty-five student athletes will be headed to Jacksonville, Florida to battle it out for a chance to compete at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. In order to compete at the NCAA Championship, these athletes will have to perform well at the NCAA East Regional hosted by the University of North Florida.
Of the athletes competing at the meet, Hokie sophomore Irena Sediva comes in with one of the best resumes. Not only does Sediva lead the region by almost 10 feet, but she also leads the nation by a little under three feet.
