BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech track and field and cross country director Dave Cianelli announced Thursday that Kennedy Dennis (Greenville, South Carolina) has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Hokies for the 2017-18 season.
“Kennedy is a five-time state champion from South Carolina,” said sprints, hurdles and relays coach Tim Vaught. “She has a strong desire to be the best. I feel like she will make an instant impact to our program. It’s going to be fun working with her.”
A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Dennis competes for Berea High under coach Stephen Redmond, where she was crowned a five-time state champion in three different events.
