BLACKSBURG – Behind Taylor Emery’s 16 first quarter points, the Virginia Tech women’s basketball team jumped out to a big lead which it never surrendered as it earned its second ACC victory of the season Thursday night. The win takes the Hokies’ record to 13-4, 2-2 in the league ahead of its matchup with No. 13 Florida State on Sunday, Jan. 14.
