ATHENS, Ohio – The Virginia Tech women’s basketball team fell to Ohio 64-57 on Sunday afternoon in the second round of the 2016 WNIT at the Convocation Center in Athens, Ohio.
“I credit Ohio, we knew they are a good team and if we got off to a slow start, which we did, that it would be tough to play from behind all night,” said head coach Dennis Wolff. “I complemented our team, as they have all season we have never really quit. We got back into it in the third quarter and we got back into in the fourth, so I’m proud of our team for the fight they showed.
