BLACKSBURG – Every one of the nine players in the Virginia Tech starting lineup had at least one hit and one run scored, while eight of the nine also drove in a run, as the Hokies posted a 20-13 victory over Wake Forest and evened the ACC series on Saturday afternoon at English Field at Union Park.
Tech used 19 hits – including four doubles, a triple and four home runs – to plate an ACC record for runs scored in a game with 20 (previous high was 19 at Duke, March 6, 2009).
