Hokies drop first game of the weekend to Delaware

NORFOLK, Va. – In the first game of the Old Dominion Baseball Tournament on Friday afternoon at Bud Metheny Baseball Complex, the Virginia Tech Hokies lost a 7-6 decision to Delaware as three errors contributed to the setback.

Cole Kragel (0-1) took the loss for the Hokies, while Packy Naughton started the game and went five innings. Ron Marinaccio improved to 2-0 with the win on the mound and Nick Spadafino earned the save.
