Hokies cap 2017 fall signing class with Virginia native

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech track and field and cross country director Dave Cianelli announced Wednesday that Bashir Mosavel-Lo (Glen Allen, Virginia) has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Hokies for the 2017-18 season.

“Bashir is going to be good,” said head cross country/distance coach Ben Thomas. “He has uncommon focus and commitment. It takes a real competitor to excel in the ACC on a consistent basis. Bashir competes, whether it’s the 5,000 meters in cross country or the 800 meters on the track. He wants to win, but more importantly, he is willing to put in the work to give himself a chance to win.
