BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech head women’s basketball coach Dennis Wolff announces the addition of Bill Dooley as an assistant coach.
“Bill and I have been friends for a long time in the coaching profession,” Wolff said. “We have always talked about one day working together. Bill is a very good coach with great character who will immediately be able to impact the ladies on our team on and off the court.”
Dooley comes to Virginia Tech after spending the past three seasons on the men’s staff at the University of Hartford. During his tenure, the team achieved the highest two-year win total in the school’s Division I history.
