Well! The Hokies certainly made a splash on Sunday when they defeated then No. 1 Marshall, 3-2, during their second match at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott JMU Invitational! At the half Virginia Tech was blanked and trailing by two. They took over during the second half and scored three goals while holding the Thundering Herd scoreless.
