Gabe Kapler is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in the major leagues for theTigers, Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies, Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers,andTampa Bayfrom 1998 to 2010. After retiring as a player, Gabe is currently theSan Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB) manager.
As a manager, he led theSan Francisco Giantsto 107 wins and theNL Westtitle in 2021. Gabe has also been awardedSporting News 2021 NL Manager of the Year.
