Former Virginia Tech quarterback Ryan Willis didn’t get an opportunity in the NFL after his college career ended in 2019. Not only was Willis not drafted in 2020, but he also didn’t latch on with anyone as an undrafted free agent, either.
Fortunately for Willis, he found another opportunity this spring, as he was a part of The Spring League, a developmental league in its sixth season of existence.
Willis took advantage of his opportunity playing for the Linemen and led his team to the TSL championship on Saturday. Not only did Willis and his squad win The Mega Bowl, but he was also named MVP.
