The weekend series: Virginia Tech, who recently announced it’s changing the name to its home facility, to English Field at Union Park, will welcome Notre Dame to Blacksburg in a rare midseason Thursday, Friday, Saturday ACC series, which starts on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Friday’s game is a normal 5:30 p.m. start, while Saturday’s game will begin at Noon.
