Former Virginia Tech standout, Darryl Tapp, has signed a deal with the New Orleans Saints. Tapp was a second round pick in 2006 with the Seattle Seahawks. After four productive years with Seattle, Tapp has bounced around a bit, with stints in Washington, Detroit, and Philadelphia. New Orleans is desperate for some pass rush, and is hoping Tapp can provide depth and experience at the position.

Tapp will still have to make the roster, but odds are high that he will stick with the club.
