Does anyone remember the last time the Virginia Tech Hokies played the Clemson Tigers on the hardwood? It was in March in the second round of the ACC Tournament when the Hokies were needing a few wins to earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Things looked bleak after Clemson center PJ Hall hit one of two free throws to give the Tigers a two-point lead with six seconds remaining. The Hokies inbounded the ball to sophomore guard Darius Maddox who dribbles the length of the court and, with a man in his face, drills the game-winning 3-pointer.
