BLACKSBURG, Va. – Four home indoor meets at Rector Field House highlight the Virginia Tech Track & Field team’s 2016 schedule as announced by head coach Dave Cianelli on Thursday.
The reigning ACC Indoor men’s champions and women’s team begin competition on Jan. 15-16 at home, serving as host to the Virginia Tech Invitational. The following week, Rector Field House is home to the Hokie Invitational on Jan. 22-23. Tech begins February at home with the Virginia Tech “Doc Hale” Elite Meet on Feb. 5-6. Two weeks later, the Hokies close up their home slate with the Virginia Tech Challenge Feb.
