The Buffalo Bills selected Virginia Tech cornerback Dorian Strong with the No. 177 (sixth round) overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Upper Marlboro, Maryland native spent five seasons with the Hokies. Strong stepped onto the scene as a true freshman in 2020, playing in 11 games and making five starts. He finished with 22 tackles, five passes defensed and one interception.
In 2021, Strong started 10 of 13 games and had 23 tackles, six passes defensed and one interception. Strong played in only four games in 2022 due to injuries but returned strong in 2023, having his best season, earning All-ACC honors, and making the Action Network’s second team All-American squad.
