Dontayvion Wicks has made plenty of big plays for the Virginia Cavaliers this season, but none turned as many heads as the touchdown he hauled in to stretch UVA’s lead over the Miami Hurricanes on Thursday night.
...Yea.
Through at least double coverage, the ball hits a few different bodies before finding Wicks’ backside, then his hands. Even the ref on the spot was unsure exactly what the hell just happened, hesitating before calling the UVA touchdown.
The 36-yard heave from Brennan Armstrong put Virginia up 25-14 in the third quarter and answered Miami’s first touchdown score of the second half.
