Virginia’s Bryce Hall leaves game against Miami with leg injury

Things weren’t going well for the No. 20 Virginia Cavaliers on the road against Miami as the Hurricanes held a 7-0 lead late in the first half. Things got worse for the Hoos, however, as All-American cornerback Bryce Hall was carted off the field after an apparent leg injury.

The Virginia defense came up with another huge stop, leading to a Miami punt with 2:46 to play. Virginia’s Billy Kemp rattled off a 19-yard return to the Cavalier side of midfield, but immediately ran back down the field after the play.

The reason was evident. Hall, a senior, was sitting on the field as training staff ran to him.
