The Virginia women's golf team won its first ACC title in 2015 at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. After the first day of the 2016 ACC tournament, the Cavaliers are in great shape to successfully defend their title. Virginia shot a combined score of -5 during Friday's first round and leads the field by 11 strokes headed into the weekend.
