It was a tense moment for Virginia football when it came to another player named Bryce as stellar quarterback Bryce Perkins had to leave the game against Louisville late in the first quarter after suffering an apparent knee injury.

On the play, a Louisville defensive lineman rolled up on Perkins, and the latter immediately held his knee. This was just the third game that Perkins had played without a knee brace on, and he had to be helped off the field after being attended to by medical staff.
