Virginia men’s tennis head coach Brian Boland is leaving the University to become the head of men’s tennis for USTA Player Development, the school announced Wednesday morning. A staple of success for Virginia Tennis, Boland led the Cavaliers to 140 consecutive ACC wins from 2006 - 2016, the longest ACC winning streak by any school in any sport.
“For the past sixteen years, my family and I have considered it a privilege and a blessing to call Charlottesville our home and the University of Virginia men's tennis program our life,” Boland said in a released statement.
