Virginia lacrosse commit Cade Saustad dominated Texas state championship game—in football

High school football championship season has been pretty kind to incoming Virginia Cavaliers. Wide receiver Billy Kemp won his third straight VHSL Class 5/5A title with Highland Springs. Cornerback D.J. Brown’s St. John’s College Cadets won the WCAC championship in D.C. More than a half dozen other 2018 commitments played in their state semifinals or finals.

Including one commit who will wear the orange and blue at Klockner Stadium instead of Scott.

Cade Saustad is a 6’5, 200-pound receiver/tight end for the Highland Park Scots—the alma mater of Matthew Stafford, Clayton Kershaw, and the late Doak Walker.
