The ACC Football schedule took shape on Thursday (August 6) as Mark Packer and Wes Durham announced the dates for games this fall on the ACC Network’s Packer and Durham. With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the conference switched to a schedule with 10 conference games with one non-conference game.
Virginia’s one non-conference game will kick off the season for the Hoos on Friday, September 11 as VMI comes to Charlottesville. Eight days later, September, 19, the Cavaliers will head to Blacksburg to try and push the win streak against the Hokies to two. This is a drastic change to when the two teams usually matchup (the weekend after Thanksgiving).
