Virginia’s upward trend in the AP Poll continues as the Hoos climbed five spots from No. 18 to No. 13 after their dominating road win over Clemson. The Cavaliers are currently alone atop the ACC with a 5-0 record and hold a 9-2 record overall. At Clemson, Virginia shot 61% from the field and 56% from three as five players hit double-digits for the third time in four games. This is the highest the Cavaliers have been in the rankings since they fell to No. 15 following their loss to San Francisco in November.
The Hoos won’t play again until Saturday after Wednesday’s matchup against NC State was postponed due to COVID issues for the Wolfpack.
