The four-star guard will be sidelined for the remainder of his high school career

Ever since Ty Jerome committed to Virginia on September 2, 2014, the New York native has been one of the fastest rising prospects in the entire class of 2016.

In the months that followed Jerome led Iona Pre to a deep playoff run, turned heads at numerous AAU circuits over the summer, and was nominated for the 2016 McDonalds All-American game.

Jerome was playing so well, that the only thing that could slow him down was a nagging hip injury.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound Jerome missed two games and several showcase events last year with an injury to his hip, and now, that same hip will cause the four-star guard to miss even more time.
