Virginia back into the top-10 at No. 9 in latest AP Poll

For the first time since 1961, there is no Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Michigan State, or Kansas (or UCLA!) in the AP Poll. The Jayhawks, now 12-7 on the season, have lost five of their last seven games and fell out of the rankings this week as a result. It’s the first time in 231 weeks that Kansas is unranked, a streak that dates back to 2009.

Gonzaga and Baylor held on to the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively, but the Bears picked up five first-place votes from the Zags between last week’s poll and this one.
