Since the Virginia Cavaliers football team made the Chick-fil-A Bowl after the 2011 season, the Hoos have had a tough three-season stretch, to put it lightly. UVA has only amassed an 11-25 (.306) record overall and just 5-19 (.208) in ACC play. To see just how inept these recent struggles have been, we should take a look at other schools and Virginia history for perspective.
In the past three seasons only five out of 66 NCAA schools from power conferences have had a worse record than the Cavaliers. The chart below shows which schools the Virginia football program is in company with:
